 Navratri is a Hindu festival celebrated over nine nights to honor nine forms of Goddess Durga Mata.

Durga Mata symbolizes divine energy for women empowerment among numerous other admirable aspects.

Goddess Durga Mata represents a form of Parvati Mata (Goddess of Nature) for the purpose of conquering evil and restoring righteousness.

I find it very admirable to know that Goddess Parvati Maa who is nurturing and motherly assumed nine strong roles when need arose to protect the greater good of the society from evil. She demonstrates the ability to take good care of her family as a wife of God Shiv ji and mother of Ganesh ji, Kartike ji and Ashok Sundari ji. Simultaneously, she demonstrates the ability to assume nine strong roles of Durga Mata and protect the universe from darkness. To me this is very inspiring!
