I have a curious mind, am always eager to learn and value spirituality.

 

Aside from my academic work, I enjoy spending time with my family and in nature. I also like meditation, music, movies and shopping.

About the Founder and Owner

Dr Ranjeeni values spirituality, is an academic and a researcher. Her research is published in prestigious journals such as The Accounting Review, Journal of Business Ethics and Journal of Corporate Finance.

​

Dr Ranjeeni’s education, research, and teaching experiences are in Accounting, Finance and Capital Markets. Dr Ranjeeni has continuously excelled academically and outperformed her peers. She received numerous Awards, Medals and Honours at various stages of her academic education.

 

Dr Ranjeeni has experience in teaching Accounting and Finance courses at Tertiary Institutions. Her research publications are in reputed Accounting, Economics and Finance journals. She published her first research paper as a solo author!

 

Her research papers are on the following topics: Valuing Knowledge, Ability, Talent, Quality Information, Board Gender Diversity and Female Directors. She also incorporates behavioral biases in developing her theories such as Gender Role Stereotypes. Further, she engages in topical research. This includes examining capital market implications of the Global Financial Crisis, Lehman Brothers Bankruptcy and recent Global Health Crisis – COVID-19.

 

Dr Ranjeeni values Ethics and Governance. She started working in the area of Board Gender Diversity since her Honours education in 2015. She has two recent publications in this area in reputable journals. Her research highlights that female director's matter in fostering ethical redaction of proprietary information. Also, her research findings suggest that more societal awareness on the benefits of female directors is needed to mitigate detrimental stereotyping and undervaluation of female directors!

Dr Ranjeeni graduated with Doctorate Degree on her Birthday! She completed her PhD in Accounting in a short time frame of around 2.5 years. Not only that, during her PhD candidature she successfully published three co-authored research papers that were not from her PhD. Her PhD examines the role of top management teams (TMTs) ability in the efficient management of Just-In-Time Inventory. Please access the link for more information about her PhD thesis.
